About SATSAFE TAXI
During CityVerve - the UK's 2 year, £15m IoT demonstrator project, SATSAFE successfully pitched the idea that we could create a cloud-based monitoring and communications platform that could be viewed in real time on any authorised mobile device. Working directly with the head of taxi licensing, we recruited a live taxi company and deployed a range of devices including OBD’s, dash-cams and others to see if we could create a ‘leader board’ to assess risk management and compliance. Through effective management and mentoring, we demonstrated our ability to meet the needs of the project and the end users. Resulted in a letter of support for our work from Head of Taxi Licensing and commendation from InnovateUK’s Project Lead.
